NoEntropy.net

Your online source for truly deterministic numbers

Why?

For researchers in many fields, deterministic (or nonrandom) numbers form an important part of everyday research. Institutes such as NASA, the Whitehouse and even the NSA use nonrandom numbers every day for vital functions. For example, NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab uses deterministic numbers to track the positions of hundreds of objects that would otherwise collide with the space shuttle.

Obviously, researchers can't just "think" of deterministic numbers; the human brain is an incredibly complex system that is poorly understood. In addition, medical research shows that our brains can be influenced by electromagnetic radiation, including cellular phones and even microwaves. It obviously wouldn't do to have important issues of national security corrupted by stray radio waves! Luckily, computers can help us solve this problem.

As active researchers, we were surprised to discover that, until now, there was no reliable source of truly deterministic numbers on the Internet; researchers had to make do with ad-hoc systems on their local computers, which often did not involve the same sophisticated algorithms that a global online system can employ. By contrast, numerous sites (notably random.org) offer nondeterministic numbers online. Hence, NoEntropy.net was founded.

How?

Generating deterministic numbers is a complicated business. NoEntropy.net uses a unique combination of tried and tested algorithms to provide you with the finest in deterministic numbers. After they are generated, the numbers are subjected to further filters to remove any remaining randomness. Finally, complicated, state-of-the-art statistical tools are used to check that the numbers you get are completely deterministic.

Our guarantee

Our numbers are guaranteed totally deterministic, and devoid of any nontrivial entropy.
